Lone Star Marine are proud to debut the DLC+, the Worlds First Digital Line Counter made specifically for drum style anchoring systems. The DLC features a bright 3 button Oled display & is easily retrofittable to all drum winch makes & models with no drilling or removal of a previously fitted winch required.

• Windlass line counters are relatively straightforward as the capstan size is always the same, length of line retrieved per revolution is also always the same. Drum winch diameters however change with every rpm as the overall diameter is constantly shifting depending on how much rode is on or off the drum. Rope diameter and drum width also play a part in drop and retrieval speed and rate at which the drum will fill or empty.
• The DLC’s unique algorithm takes into account drum width, diameter, shaft size, rope diameter, & overall rode length to give extremely accurate readings across all drum and line sizes. Simply enter the diameter and length of rope and chain on your drum and the DLC will take care of the rest. This is by far the smartest product LSM have every developed and we couldn’t be happier with the result.

The DLC is available as DLC (counter only), or DLC+ (this product) which allows the operator to run the winch via DLC as well as use the auto retrieve feature.
